It's important to read the diary before you talk to the rest of the characters in Valsembor. The "Strong Reason" achievement can also be earned later, just follow the prompts in this walkthrough. The “Screenwriter’s Nightmare” achievement is more difficult to get than others - for this you need to perform all optional actions in the game ahead of the logical chain (“Nightmare” you will receive for one of them absolutely randomly - the author of the text earned it along with the “Cassandra” achievement). You will need this to get as many as four achievements in the future - "A Strong Argument", "Screenwriter's Nightmare", "Crime and Punishment" and "A Dark Past". There on the table you will find the captain's diary. Enter any door, go past the chairs, and climb any stairs to the top. When control returns to you, go to the ferry. Go around the imposing white ship (later you find out that it is the ferry "Krystal") and talk to the drunk captain Obo. Return to the gate and move to the right. Talk to the lone angler and the achievement is yours. This is optional in the story, but is required to complete the Valsembor Nightmare achievement.
